Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the student care centre to ensure a safe, engaging, and enriching environment.
- Supervise a team of educators and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, mentorship, and professional growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing inquiries with professionalism.
- Monitor and enforce all safety protocols and compliance standards in accordance with government regulations.
- Coordinate academic and enrichment activities, ensuring they align with the PlayFACTO School curriculum and student needs.
- Manage administrative duties, including student attendance, billing, and resource management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive and inclusive centre culture that encourages students' social, emotional, and academic development.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in student care, child development, or a centre management role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English to engage with both children and parents.
- Passion for education and a firm commitment to student welfare and development.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to the overall goals of the organization.
- Proficiency in basic administrative software and digital management tools.
- Relevant certification in Student Care or First Aid is a significant advantage.
