Job Description

Ingram Micro Philippines is seeking motivated and enthusiastic students to join our Human Resources team as a Student Intern. This part‑time internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical HR experience while supporting a global technology leader. You will work closely with HR professionals on recruitment, employee engagement, HRIS administration, and learning & development initiatives. The role is designed to help you build a solid foundation in HR practices, develop professional skills, and explore a career in people management within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, attend training sessions, and receive mentorship from experienced HR practitioners. This position is ideal for current college students pursuing degrees in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields who are eager to apply classroom knowledge in a real‑world setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process including job posting, resume screening, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires, preparing welcome kits and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Maintain employee records in HRIS and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help organize employee engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and recognition events.
  • Support learning & development efforts by coordinating training schedules and tracking participation.
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR administrative support.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent academic standing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of HR functions and employment laws is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and team‑player mindset.
