As we push the boundaries of modern boat building, we need a technical expert to oversee our production floor, ensure operational excellence, and maintain our commitment to superior quality.
In this role, you will be the bridge between design concepts and final sea-worthy products. You will lead a skilled team, optimize production workflows, and ensure that every vessel leaving our facility meets international safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production activities on the shop floor to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians and craftsmen to maintain high productivity levels.
- Enforce strict quality control standards throughout the lamination, assembly, and finishing processes.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with procurement to avoid production bottlenecks.
- Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety (K3) regulations.
- Monitor production workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Provide detailed reporting on production progress, resource utilization, and any technical challenges to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in boat building, composite engineering, or automotive sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing technical production teams.
- Solid understanding of boat construction materials, including fiberglass, epoxy resins, and marine hardware.
- Ability to interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings with high precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, "can-do" attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills in both Indonesian and English is a plus.
- Willingness to be based in Bali and adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-growing startup.
