As a key leader in our store, you will be responsible for mentoring staff, ensuring consistent beverage and dessert quality, managing inventory, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the tea and dessert bar, ensuring smooth workflow and high service standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of baristas and service staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Monitor and maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation of all beverages and desserts.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and optimise cost.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations in compliance with company policies.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.
- Create staff schedules, manage shift rotations, and support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Drive sales performance by upselling, promoting menu items, and executing in-store marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the F&B or hospitality industry, preferably in a tea, coffee, or dessert bar environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent knowledge of beverage preparation (especially tea-based drinks) and dessert handling.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, cash handling, and basic financial reporting.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
