MINDS is looking for a dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team at Towner Gardens School in Geylang. In this role, you will work closely with the lead teacher to support classroom activities, foster a positive learning environment, and help students reach their full potential.
You will be responsible for preparing instructional materials, assisting students during lessons, and providing one‑on‑one support where needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative setting, demonstrates patience, and has a genuine passion for education.

Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in delivering lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Prepare teaching materials, including worksheets, visual aids, and manipulatives.
- Provide individualized support to students, addressing diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and conducive classroom environment.
- Monitor and report student progress to teachers and parents.
- Supervise students during breaks, recess, and school events.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support overall school operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education, Teaching Assistant, or a related field.
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a classroom setting is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student development.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- First aid certification is a plus.
