Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging, standards-based lesson plans for elementary grades, aligned with the DepEd K-12 curriculum.
- Evaluate student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, providing detailed feedback for improvement.
- Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere that respects diversity and promotes active learning.
- Collaborate with school leadership and peers to enhance instructional materials and develop best teaching practices.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding student achievements, behavior, and areas for development.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, school events, and community engagement activities.
- Keep accurate and organized records of student attendance, grades, and performance portfolios.
- Mentor and guide assistant teachers or student teachers as needed, demonstrating leadership within the academic team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (BEEd) or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Teacher with Civil Service Professional Eligibility (Teacher VI qualification is a strong advantage).
- At least 3-5 years of successful teaching experience in an elementary school setting.
- Excellent proficiency in English and Filipino, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and student motivation skills.
- Proficiency in educational technology and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
