Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the technical design and planning phases of sustainable housing projects, ensuring alignment with company vision and sustainability goals.
- Manage a team of architects, engineers, and designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring high-performance output.
- Develop and review project plans, specifications, and construction documents to guarantee accuracy, feasibility, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate design solutions with budget, schedule, and site constraints.
- Implement and promote innovative sustainable design strategies, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and eco-friendly materials.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and enforce quality standards.
- Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and progress updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Design, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in design management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within residential or sustainable construction.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability certifications (e.g., BERDE, LEED).
- Proven expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and project management tools.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and Filipino.
