Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on C&I systems including turbines, generators, and auxiliary plant equipment.
- Execute precise calibration of field instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
- Participate in the commissioning and testing of new instrumentation and control loop systems during plant upgrades or shutdowns.
- Analyze system failures using PLC and DCS diagnostics to identify root causes and implement effective, long-term solutions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety protocols and local environmental regulations.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including maintenance logs, instrument calibration reports, and technical procedure updates.
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize plant performance and minimize equipment downtime.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in C&I maintenance within a power plant or petrochemical environment.
- Strong working knowledge of DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in using calibration tools and electrical test equipment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety (WSH).
