Responsibilities
- Provide technical service and support for industrial automation systems, electric motors, and motion control equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with AC/DC motors, servo motors, stepper motors, and associated control systems
- Install, commission, and maintain motor systems and wiring configurations for various industrial applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement effective solutions for complex automation challenges
- Deliver exceptional customer service through technical consultations, site visits, and product demonstrations
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and service records for all completed assignments
- Assist in training junior technicians and providing guidance on best practices in motor control systems
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical service for industrial automation or motor control systems
- Strong knowledge of electric motors including AC/DC, servo, and stepper motors
- Proficiency in motor wiring, control circuit design, and motion control principles
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems is advantageous
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Valid Singapore driving license is preferred for on-site customer support
