Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Perform on-site diagnostic assessments, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and calibrations, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Deliver hands-on training and technical guidance to clients on equipment operation, safety protocols, and basic maintenance procedures.
- Document all service activities, technical issues, and resolutions accurately for record-keeping and knowledge base improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering and sales teams to provide feedback for product improvement and customer solutions.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience in technical support, field service, or maintenance of industrial machinery/heavy equipment.
- Demonstrated strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills for complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple service calls.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore is essential, as transport will be provided.
