As our Technical Trainer, you will translate complex EV architecture, battery management systems, and high-voltage safety protocols into digestible, actionable learning modules. You will not only be responsible for training delivery but also for identifying knowledge gaps and fostering a culture of technical excellence across our workshop and service centers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on EV systems, including powertrain, battery thermal management, and vehicle control units.
  • Conduct hands-on technical workshops and classroom sessions for service technicians and support staff.
  • Create high-quality training materials, including technical manuals, instructional videos, and assessment tools.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to address complex vehicle diagnostics and repair challenges.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and field performance feedback.
  • Stay abreast of the latest automotive technological advancements and regulatory changes to update curricula accordingly.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new technical personnel regarding BYD's proprietary diagnostic tools and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive technical training or senior technical support roles.
  • Strong expertise in Electric Vehicle (EV) systems and high-voltage battery safety.
  • Proven ability to break down complex technical information for diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Certification in adult learning or professional training is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple training schedules effectively.
