EA Recruitment Pte Ltd is looking for a detail‑oriented Process & Laboratory Technician to join our client’s state‑of‑the‑art chemical manufacturing facility located on Jurong Island. In this role you will work a 12‑hour shift and be responsible for performing chemical laboratory testing, quality‑control (QC) analysis, supporting production operations, and maintaining process equipment to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.
You will collaborate closely with production engineers, safety officers, and other technicians to uphold the highest standards of product quality and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non‑routine chemical laboratory tests, including titrations, spectrophotometry, and chromatography, to verify product specifications.
- Execute quality‑control (QC) analyses and maintain accurate records in compliance with ISO/ASME standards.
- Support production by monitoring process parameters, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and 5S housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Maintain laboratory instrumentation, calibrate sensors, and document calibration logs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Process Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a chemical laboratory or process plant environment.
- Proficiency in standard analytical techniques (e.g., titration, pH measurement, spectrophotometry).
- Strong understanding of safety procedures (e.g., OSHA, WSH) and chemical handling guidelines.
- Ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good communication skills, teamwork mindset, and attention to detail.
