As a key member of the operations team, you will be an integral part of a 12-hour rotating day/night shift crew. Your primary mission will be to ensure the continuous high availability and optimal performance of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This involves conducting rigorous preventive maintenance, swiftly diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, and executing precise corrective actions to minimize downtime. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor process equipment (e.g., etching, deposition, lithography, or inspection tools).
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic system faults efficiently.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and adjust process parameters to maintain optimal operation.
- Assist in equipment installation, setup, qualification, and continuous process improvement projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and cleanroom protocols.
- Document all maintenance activities, issues, and solutions accurately in the shift logbook and CMMS system.
- Communicate effectively with the production team during shift handovers regarding equipment status and ongoing issues.
- Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline).
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor, wafer fabrication, or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with semiconductor process equipment (e.g., TEL, AMAT, ASML, KLA, Disco) is highly preferred.
- Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (including weekends and public holidays).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Meticulous with a strong focus on quality and safety.
