Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed tender submissions, including technical proposals, cost estimation, and risk assessment for geotechnical projects.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure tender requirements are met accurately and on time.
- Supervise site activities to ensure work is executed in accordance with engineering designs, safety standards, and project schedules.
- Monitor geotechnical instrumentation and interpret site data to optimize construction methods.
- Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and machinery, to ensure project cost-efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports for management review.
- Ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations on-site.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in civil infrastructure or geotechnical site engineering.
- Proficiency in tender documentation, cost estimation software, and engineering design tools.
- Strong understanding of Singapore building codes, WSH regulations, and geotechnical standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid certification in relevant safety courses (e.g., BCSS) is highly advantageous.
