Responsibilities
- Build and assemble testers, fixtures, and environmental test chambers to meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Perform setup, calibration, and validation of test equipment for production and R&D projects.
- Conduct functional and environmental tests on products, documenting results and identifying deviations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test equipment and procedures in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of test configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve test methods and optimize test coverage.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on test efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a test technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with test fixtures, measurement instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes), and environmental chambers.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of quality management systems and testing standards (e.g., ISO, IPC).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
