Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee ticketing operations, ensuring seamless booking processes through GDS platforms.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging travel demands.
  • Prepare and present compelling business proposals and contract negotiations to prospective partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional packages and ticketing campaigns.
  • Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to the senior management team.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales specifically within the travel or ticketing industry.
  • Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and sales metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-moving environment.
