Job Description
Bet Obaja International is seeking a dedicated and detailāoriented Ticketing Staff to join our dynamic travel team in Jakarta. In this role, you will manage the endātoāend ticket issuance process for domestic and international flights, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for our clients.
You will work closely with airlines and our reservations team, handling bookings, modifications, and cancellations in real time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastāpaced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service in the hospitality and tourism industry.
Responsibilities
- Process ticket reservations and issue tickets for flights using GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) in accordance with airline policies.
- Manage booking modifications, reāissuing, refunds, and cancellations with accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with airlines and internal departments to resolve ticket discrepancies and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Maintain upātoādate knowledge of airline tariffs, routes, and promotional offers to advise clients effectively.
- Provide professional customer service, handling inquiries, quotations, and complaints via phone, email, and ināperson.
- Ensure proper documentation and recordākeeping of all ticket transactions and financial reports.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support promotional activities and generate revenue.
- Adhere to safety, security, and data protection standards while performing all ticketing duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of handsāon experience in a travel agency or airline ticketing environment.
- Proven proficiency with GDS platforms (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) and ability to navigate complex booking scenarios.
- Strong command of Indonesian and English (both written and verbal) for client interactions.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Customerāfocused mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in tourism, hospitality, or related field is a plus.
