Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate traffic operations to ensure safety and efficiency
- Enforce safety compliance with local and national regulations
- Manage relationships with stakeholders including local authorities and contractors
- Oversee lane closures and traffic control device installations
- Develop and implement traffic management plans for various scenarios
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust strategies as needed
- Prepare reports on traffic incidents and operational performance
- Train and supervise junior staff and traffic controllers
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in traffic management or road safety
- Valid driving license and familiarity with local traffic regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Proficiency in using traffic management software and tools
- Basic knowledge of traffic engineering principles
