Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of freight booking, scheduling, and dispatching to ensure timely delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues.
- Monitor cargo status in real-time and provide accurate updates to stakeholders regarding shipment progress.
- Prepare and verify necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with transport partners and third-party logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Analyze shipping data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation coordination.
- Strong understanding of cargo handling procedures and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- High level of organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license is an advantage.
