As our Utility Sanitary Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive design and oversight of plumbing, sewerage, and fire protection systems for both vertical building projects and horizontal land development. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to translate complex regulatory requirements into functional, scalable designs. Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed engineering design drawings for sanitary sewer, vent, water distribution, fire protection, and storm drainage systems.
- Conduct site assessments and technical feasibility studies for upcoming land development projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with the National Plumbing Code of the Philippines and other relevant local building regulations.
- Collaborate with the architectural and civil engineering teams to integrate utility systems seamlessly into master-planned developments.
- Prepare comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for sanitary and utility-related works.
- Supervise onsite installations to ensure strict adherence to engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Provide technical support during project bidding, procurement, and regulatory permitting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sanitary Engineering or Civil Engineering (Licensed Professional preferred).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in sanitary/utility engineering, preferably within the residential real estate or property development sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong working knowledge of local building codes, DPWH standards, and environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to manage technical documentation and cross-functional project coordination.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Willingness to conduct periodic site visits within Metro Manila and surrounding development areas.
