Responsibilities
- Operate manual transmission vans to transport goods between warehouse, suppliers, and customer sites.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent damage.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including tyre pressure, fluid levels, and brake checks.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and mileage reports.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company safety policies, and regional transportation regulations.
- Communicate dispatch updates and any delays to warehouse supervisors promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment tasks as needed.
- Keep the vehicle clean and report any mechanical issues for timely servicing.
Qualifications
- Valid Singapore Class 3 or 3A driving licence with manual transmission endorsement.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a van or light truck driver in a logistics or warehouse setting.
- Good knowledge of Singapore road routes, especially in the North‑East region.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 kg safely.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Basic English communication skills for understanding instructions and completing paperwork.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekend shifts based on operational needs.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic offences in the past 3 years.
