Job Description
Symbos CX is looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in producing high-performing paid social content designed to captivate audiences on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and TikTok. You will work closely with our marketing and content teams to transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos that drive results. If you have a keen eye for storytelling, a strong grasp of social media trends, and technical expertise in video editing, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a Video Editor at Symbos CX, you will be responsible for the entire post-production workflow, from cutting and sequencing to color grading, sound design, and final delivery. You will need to adapt quickly to changing platform requirements, optimize videos for mobile-first viewing, and ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into compelling, high-quality paid social ads for Meta and TikTok platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign goals, target audiences, and creative direction.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and visual effects to enhance video storytelling and engagement.
- Ensure all videos are optimized for platform-specific specifications (aspect ratios, captions, length, etc.).
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintain organized file structures and archives for all raw and finished assets.
- Stay current with social media trends, video formats, and editing tools to continuously improve content performance.
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in social media or advertising.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing software.
- Strong understanding of Meta and TikTok content best practices, including algorithm-friendly editing.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to condense complex messages into short-form content.
- Solid grasp of audio mixing, color grading, and basic motion graphics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid setup.
- A portfolio showcasing previous social media video work, especially paid ads.
