Vision Venture Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a passionate and creative Video Editor to join our team, specializing in content for the fast-paced world of TikTok. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting engaging, trend-driven videos for the Glad2Glow brand that captivate audiences and drive social media growth.
You will collaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to develop compelling visual stories tailored for short-form platforms. The ideal candidate thrives on staying ahead of social trends, possesses a keen creative eye, and has a knack for turning raw footage into viral-ready content.
Responsibilities
- Edit high-energy, short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop fresh, engaging content concepts.
- Monitor and integrate trending sounds, filters, and formats into video edits.
- Manage video assets, organize footage, and maintain a structured media library.
- Perform color correction, audio mixing, and add motion graphics/animation.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains visual consistency.
Qualifications
- Proven portfolio or demonstrable experience editing videos for TikTok or similar short-form platforms.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut).
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and visual effects (After Effects is a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of current social media trends, algorithms, and audience preferences.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a fast-paced team.
