This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the hospitality industry and understands the importance of maintaining halal standards in food service. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring all our food preparation and service practices comply with halal certification requirements.

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner while ensuring an exceptional dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver orders to tables in a timely fashion
- Monitor and maintain halal compliance throughout food preparation, storage, and service areas
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all ingredients and supplies meet halal certification standards
- Maintain detailed records of halal inventory, certifications, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to address any halal-related concerns or requirements
- Provide excellent customer service, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues professionally
- Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas before, during, and after service hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant operations
- Basic understanding of halal certification requirements and food handling standards
- Strong communication skills in English and Malay (written and verbal)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to monitor compliance and maintain accurate records
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle fast-paced work conditions
- Prior experience in a heritage or cultural establishment is an added advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus
