Key responsibilities include managing a team of warehouse staff, implementing best‑practice inventory control procedures, monitoring health and safety standards, and optimizing warehouse layout for maximum space utilization. Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of goods.
- Supervise and performance‑manage a team of warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock records and minimize shrinkage.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA) and company policies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and store management to align stock levels with demand forecasts.
- Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, KPIs, and inventory status for senior leadership.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects using lean or Six‑Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a retail or department‑store environment.
- Proficient in inventory management systems (SAP, ERP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations (OSHA) and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English; Filipino language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work in a shift‑based environment and occasionally lift heavy items (up to 25 kg).
