Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead, mentor, and train the warehouse team to ensure productivity goals and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and implement efficient layout strategies for improved workflow.
- Enforce strict health and safety protocols (K3) and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Prepare detailed operational reports and performance metrics for management review.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and order fulfillment.
- Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve turnaround times.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of stock control procedures, logistics flow, and safety regulations (K3).
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
