Join our team at Syarikat Peladang Dan Perusahaan Minyak as a Wireman in our Palm Oil Mill facility in Teluk Intan, Perak. This critical role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment essential to our palm oil production operations. As a Wireman, you will be responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our electrical infrastructure, which is vital to maintaining productivity and safety standards in our mill environment.
Our ideal candidate is a skilled professional with experience in industrial electrical systems, particularly in manufacturing or processing facilities. You will work closely with our engineering team to diagnose and resolve electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the palm oil mill
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical machinery
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system improvements
- Document maintenance activities and prepare technical reports
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and urgent repair requests
Qualifications
- Certification in electrical engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with safety protocols and electrical codes in Malaysia
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation is preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to work in various industrial environments
