Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and document test results accurately for various software applications
- Identify, report, and track software defects using bug tracking systems
- Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to test planning activities
- Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans and test cases
- Support the QA team in conducting different types of testing (functional, integration, and user acceptance testing)
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the QA department
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a related degree program (Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar) or recent graduate
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-motivated with a eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, or scripting languages is a plus
