You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying emerging market trends to drive business growth. Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of key accounts within the Human Nutrition sector across Malaysia.
- Provide expert technical support and application advice for food ingredients to manufacturers and R&D teams.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market analysis and proactive networking.
- Collaborate with regional technical centers to offer tailored ingredient solutions that meet client specifications.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements to ensure long-term profitability and partnership.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes within the food industry.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic territory plans to management.
- Represent Barentz at industry trade shows, seminars, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in technical sales or account management within the food ingredients industry.
- Strong technical understanding of food chemistry and various food application processes.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Malay.
- A self-motivated, result-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Possess a valid driver's license and the willingness to travel frequently for client visits.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
