Responsibilities
- Define project goals, scope, and success criteria in partnership with senior leadership and technical teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure onâtime delivery.
- Facilitate crossâfunctional communication, organize regular status meetings, and prepare executive summaries.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, handle scope changes, and ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with data engineers and AI specialists to validate data pipelines, model outputs, and integration points.
- Continuously improve project management processes and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably managing AI or dataâcentric projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical, problemâsolving, and decisionâmaking skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to influence diverse teams.
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (CSM, PSPO) is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; Malay language skills are a plus.
