Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to analyse visitor behaviour and improve guest experiences.
  • Design AI-driven solutions for wildlife monitoring, health prediction, and habitat management.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines from sensors, ticketing, and operational systems.
  • Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate based on feedback from domain experts.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualisations and reports.
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to conservation and tourism challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit‑learn.
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, and big‑data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
