Mandai Wildlife Group, home to Singapore's iconic wildlife parks, is seeking an AI Specialist to harness the power of artificial intelligence in advancing conservation efforts, enriching guest experiences, and driving organisational growth. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deploy AIāenabled solutions that address realāworld challenges in wildlife management, visitor engagement, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models to analyse visitor behaviour and improve guest experiences.
- Design AI-driven solutions for wildlife monitoring, health prediction, and habitat management.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines from sensors, ticketing, and operational systems.
- Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate based on feedback from domain experts.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualisations and reports.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to conservation and tourism challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikitālearn.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, and bigādata tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to nonātechnical audiences.
