Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the full spectrum of air import shipments from pre-alert to final delivery.
  • Liaise effectively with overseas agents, airlines, and ground handling agents to ensure timely cargo arrival.
  • Prepare and process essential shipping documentation, including Air Waybills (AWB) and customs permits.
  • Oversee customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with Singapore Customs and aviation regulations.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide proactive updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely closure of files.
  • Resolve any operational discrepancies or cargo damage claims in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to coordinate local delivery schedules.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in air freight forwarding or import operations.
  • Working knowledge of TradeNet and cargo management systems is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping incoterms and customs regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
