Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end airfreight shipment coordination, including booking, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, providing timely updates on shipment status and resolving any issues or delays.
  • Prepare, review, and process all necessary shipping documentation (AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin) to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Coordinate with airline carriers to secure space, negotiate rates, and manage cargo bookings efficiently.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely cargo handling, palletization, and customs clearance.
  • Maintain accurate records in the freight management system and generate operational reports for management review.
  • Assist in the billing process by verifying charges and ensuring accurate invoicing for clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in airfreight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain customer service.
  • In-depth knowledge of airfreight documentation (MAWB, HAWB, customs clearance, import/export regulations).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with freight management software (e.g., CargoWise) is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (ability to liaise with international clients and partners).
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
