Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminium components for precision sheet metal parts
- Operate welding equipment safely and maintain optimal work conditions
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications
- Inspect weldments for quality, structural integrity, and dimensional accuracy
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and proper joint fitting
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper tool calibration
- Collaborate with quality control teams to resolve welding-related issues
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional aluminium welding experience
- Certification in TIG/MIG welding (AWS or equivalent preferred)
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and welding symbols
- Strong knowledge of aluminium alloys and welding techniques
- Ability to work with precision measuring instruments
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in standing position
- Basic understanding of ISO quality standards
