Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced, high-performance applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs to ensure seamless integration.
- Perform unit-testing for code robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Identify, debug, and fix performance bottlenecks and application bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization through code reviews.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new mobile development technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in Android development with a strong portfolio of released applications.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, with a deep understanding of the Android SDK.
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava/Coroutines).
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
