Are you an experienced Audiovisual Technician looking for a challenging role in a leading healthcare institution? Changi General Hospital (CGH) is seeking a dedicated Senior/AV Technician to join our Education Admin Department. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support for audiovisual systems and e-learning platforms such as Blackboard (Anthology). We are looking for a proactive individual who ensures seamless operations for our educational and administrative environments.
Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of CGH, supporting both clinical and non-clinical learning environments. You will act as a technical partner, ensuring that all AV equipment functions optimally and that digital learning platforms are accessible to staff and students alike.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support for audiovisual (AV) equipment and e-learning platforms within the Education Admin Department.
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot issues related to the Blackboard (Anthology) Learning Management System (LMS) and other e-learning tools.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of AV hardware, including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing units.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess technical requirements and implement AV solutions for educational events and administrative meetings.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and incident reports to maintain an organized knowledge base.
- Respond to and resolve IT service tickets related to AV and e-learning support efficiently.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of AV systems for large-scale events and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in AV support, IT Helpdesk, or technical support roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Blackboard (Anthology) or other Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting AV peripherals and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues quickly.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Relevant Singapore Work Pass (S Pass/EP) is preferred.
