Responsibilities

  • Monitor critical business applications and ensure 24/7 system availability and optimal performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis for technical incidents and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with developers and third-party vendors to resolve bugs and deploy system updates.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including support manuals and system configuration guides.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding software-related queries and technical issues.
  • Identify opportunities for system automation and process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance testing to ensure compliance with company security standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Application Support or IT Operations role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS or Azure).
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical explanations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices for incident and change management is highly desirable.
