IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking a dedicated and experienced Architecture Supervisor to join our dynamic construction team in Kuching, Sarawak. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing all architectural construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate architectural works, enforce compliance with design specifications, and maintain rigorous safety protocols. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving technical issues, interpreting construction drawings, and ensuring that all work aligns with local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily architectural construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to streamline workflow and meet project timelines.
- Monitor quality control processes, conduct inspections, and address any deviations or defects promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications, providing technical guidance to workers.
- Prepare and maintain site records, progress reports, and documentation for project tracking.
- Resolve technical issues and provide onātheāspot solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability for site operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site supervision, preferably in architectural works.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problemāsolving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings and specifications.
- Professional certification or membership in a relevant professional body is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kuching, Sarawak, and travel as required.
