Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
- Manage tender processes, including bid evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendations.
- Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Monitor project expenditure, track variations, and prepare progress claims.
- Conduct site visits to verify works and update cost reports.
- Prepare final accounts and resolve contractual disputes.
- Identify financial risks and implement effective cost control measures.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual matters.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Cubicost, CostX) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Membership with RICS or SISV is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
