Bank of Singapore is seeking an experienced Area Product Owner - Aladdin Wealth to join our dynamic team on a 12-month contract basis. In this critical role, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Aladdin platform (BlackRock), focusing on driving enhancements and optimization of our wealth management systems.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring seamless integration and superior user experience across our Aladdin-powered wealth solutions. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Aladdin platform expert (SME) for wealth management enhancements and system improvements
- Define and prioritize product backlog items based on business value and technical feasibility
- Collaborate with development teams to translate user stories and acceptance criteria into functional requirements
- Lead sprint planning, review meetings, and demos to ensure alignment on product deliverables
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Aladdin system enhancements before deployment
- Identify and resolve production issues related to Aladdin platform functionality
- Provide expert guidance and training to business users on Aladdin platform capabilities
- Monitor system performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with BlackRock's Aladdin platform in a banking or financial services environment
- Proven track record as a Product Owner or Business Analyst managing wealth management systems
- Strong understanding of investment operations, portfolio management, and wealth management workflows
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Prior experience in private banking or wealth management domains is highly advantageous
