Analog Devices is actively seeking a diligent Assembly Operator to join our production team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will contribute to End-of-Line and Final-Out-Line assembly operations on a fast-paced electronics manufacturing floor. This role emphasizes quality, safety, and efficiency to meet customer expectations.
In this position, you will follow documented work instructions, use standard assembly tools, and perform basic inspections to ensure correct component placement and solder joints. You will collaborate with process technicians and QA to address discrepancies and implement improvements. A successful candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on EOL and FOL processes to ensure final product readiness for shipment.

Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components on EOL and FOL lines following documented procedures and IPC standards.
- Perform basic visual and functional inspections to verify workmanship and solder joints.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely; monitor settings and report anomalies.
- Document assembly steps, part numbers, and serials in production records accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S principles.
- Collaborate with process engineers and QA to address defects and implement improvements.
- Assist with line changeovers and basic rework tasks as required.
- Adhere to all safety policies, quality targets, and production schedules to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in electronics assembly or PCB/SMT environments is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.
- Good manual dexterity, steady hands, and accurate hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team player with good communication and safety awareness
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
