Legrand, a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team in Balakong, Selangor. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the production and logistics operations, ensuring that our high-quality racks and assemblies are completed efficiently and safely.
In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including rack assembly, stock handling, forklift operation, packaging, and providing support to warehouse and production activities. You will work closely with a team of professionals to maintain a smooth workflow and meet production targets. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling racks and related components to meet specific customer and production requirements. You will also perform stock handling duties, ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and stored. Forklift operation is a key part of this role, and you will be expected to operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and finished goods. Additionally, you will assist with packaging operations and provide general support to the warehouse and production teams as needed.
We are looking for candidates who possess strong mechanical aptitude and experience in assembly or manufacturing environments. A valid forklift license and prior experience in warehouse operations are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions accurately, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform rack assembly according to work orders and quality standards.
- Handle stock and inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and storage.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator license (required).
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg).
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
