Responsibilities
- Perform precision assembly of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct thorough functional, performance, and quality control tests on assembled products using various testing equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, defects, or malfunctions in assemblies and components.
- Document all test results, assembly procedures, and repair activities accurately and comprehensively.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO, IPC), and company operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and other technicians to optimize assembly processes and improve product reliability.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Nitec in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or testing environment, preferably in precision industries.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in using common hand tools, power tools, and various test and measurement equipment.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to commit to a permanent night shift schedule.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
