Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure adherence to quality care standards across all shifts
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
- Manage and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance on patient care and professional development
- Monitor compliance with Ministry of Health regulations and nursing home licensing requirements
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and care delivery
- Participate in budget planning, resource allocation, and staff scheduling initiatives
- Conduct regular audits and quality assessments to maintain high standards of nursing practice
- Address patient and family concerns, ensuring responsive and empathetic communication
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent; advanced nursing qualification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong background in geriatric nursing, gerontology, or elderly care settings
- Demonstrated knowledge of Singapore healthcare regulations and nursing home standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in nursing management systems and electronic health records
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with strong organizational capabilities
