Gaba Telepsychiatry PC is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Virtual Medical Scribe to join our growing telehealth team. This fully remote role is ideal for healthcare professionals with a background in pharmacy or nursing who are looking to leverage their clinical knowledge in a dynamic telepsychiatry setting. As a Virtual Medical Scribe, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, real-time documentation of patient encounters, enabling our psychiatrists to focus on delivering exceptional mental healthcare.
You will work from the comfort of your home in Manila City, Metro Manila, collaborating with a dedicated team of providers. This is a full-time, stable position offering competitive compensation between $1,000 and $1,500 per month, depending on experience. Responsibilities
- Accompany psychiatrists during live virtual patient consultations and document clinical notes in real-time using an EHR system.
- Accurately record patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management recommendations.
- Ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA and organizational privacy standards.
- Review and organize clinical data, lab results, and prior records to assist providers with informed decision-making.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and assist with prescription refill documentation as needed.
- Flag discrepancies or missing information in patient records and collaborate with the clinical team to resolve them.
- Maintain a consistent workflow, meeting productivity and accuracy benchmarks for each shift.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
- Active professional license (RN, PharmD, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or telehealth setting.
- Excellent typing speed (60+ WPM) with strong attention to grammatical and medical terminology accuracy.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with providers and patients virtually.
- Willingness to work US time zones (flexible shifts) as required.
