Responsibilities
- Receive and assess incoming emergency calls from individuals requiring urgent medical assistance
- Prioritize emergency situations based on severity and dispatch appropriate medical resources accordingly
- Coordinate with ambulance services, paramedics, and hospital emergency departments to ensure rapid response times
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all emergency communications and dispatched resources
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions to callers to help stabilize patients before responders arrive
- Monitor multiple emergency channels and communication systems simultaneously during peak periods
- Collaborate with local emergency services and healthcare facilities to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in regular training sessions and drills to maintain operational readiness and protocol compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency services, healthcare, or customer-facing communication roles
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in emergency medical dispatching is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and make quick decisions during high-stress emergency situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in both Filipino and English languages
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with dispatch software and radio communication systems
- Excellent multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of local geography and road networks in Carcar City and surrounding Cebu areas
