As an Assistant Leasing Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the occupancy and revenue of a flagship retail portfolio located in the iconic Singapore River precinct. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external tenants to negotiate lease agreements, optimize tenant mix, and ensure the long-term success of our retail assets. We are looking for a candidate who brings a blend of market intelligence, negotiation finesse, and a genuine passion for retail real estate.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end leasing process for a premium retail portfolio, from prospecting to lease execution.
- Develop and implement innovative leasing strategies to maximize asset performance and rental income.
- Identify, attract, and negotiate with potential retail tenants to ensure a vibrant and diverse tenant mix.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing tenants to ensure high renewal rates and tenant satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and rental benchmarks to provide data-driven insights.
- Prepare comprehensive leasing proposals, reports, and recommendations for senior management.
- Coordinate with marketing and property management teams to enhance asset positioning and visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail leasing, real estate sales, or business development.
- Proven track record of successful deal-closing and managing commercial lease negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of the Singapore retail property market and leasing regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and lease management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
