EPS Malaysia is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager, IT (Infra & Security) to join our team in the Klang/Port Klang region. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary bridge between our organization and our technology partners.
The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime, and fortifying our security posture. Your core focus will be effective vendor management, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met and that our technology investments align with business objectives. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Lead vendor management efforts, ensuring all service providers adhere to contractual obligations and performance KPIs.
- Monitor and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect organizational data and assets from evolving threats.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify infrastructure gaps and implement cost-effective, scalable technical solutions.
- Coordinate regular IT audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical IT infrastructure incidents and vendor-related service disruptions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations and cybersecurity roles.
- Proven track record in managing third-party vendors, ISPs, and IT service providers.
- Strong working knowledge of network security, firewalls, endpoint protection, and server management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage professional relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of handling high-pressure technical situations.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL are highly regarded.
