Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end leasing cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, and nurturing potential tenants.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and optimal rental rates for retail assets.
- Negotiate lease terms, rental packages, and concession structures to achieve occupancy targets and revenue goals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key retailers, brands, and commercial stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive leasing reports, performance analysis, and projections for senior management.
- Ensure seamless coordination between leasing, legal, and property management departments for efficient tenant onboarding.
- Monitor competitor activity and implement proactive leasing strategies to maintain market dominance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or retail leasing, preferably with a major property developer.
- Strong understanding of retail market trends, lease contracts, and local property regulations in Malaysia.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to travel as required for site visits and market exploration.
