Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and enforce employee protection policies aligned with local labor laws and healthcare regulations.
- Manage the confidential whistleblowing and grievance reporting channels, ensuring timely and impartial investigations.
- Coordinate with HR, Legal, and Operations to address workplace safety, harassment, and discrimination concerns.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits related to employee safety and protection, recommending corrective actions.
- Design and deliver training programs on employee rights, workplace ethics, and protection procedures.
- Monitor and report on key metrics related to employee protection incidents, trends, and outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and staff on employee protection matters.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., Ministry of Manpower) to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in employee relations, workplace safety, or compliance, preferably in a healthcare or large-scale organization.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s Employment Act, Workplace Safety and Health Act, and related regulations.
- Proven experience in conducting investigations and managing sensitive employee cases with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to influence and build trust across all levels.
- Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (e.g., WSH Officer) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
